Pump Out

A sewage pumping station close to a river was experiencing difficulties when MTS despatched a Super Sucker Tanker and a Vacuum Tanker to control the levels of flow.

Within two hours the team had set up the equipment and started pumping out waste at a depth of 14 metres, later transporting it to a location specified by the client. Our response allowed the sewers to keep flowing, which in turn let the public continue to use their toilets and empty their baths without even knowing that there was a problem.

This operation continued day and night until the pumping station could be fully cleaned, the pumps repaired and the pumping station back on line to resume its normal duty with no flooding, blockages or interruption to service.
