MTS and the Queen Alexandra Hospital Home

MTS supports the Queen Alexandra Hospital Home (QAHH) which provides care and rehabilitation for physically disabled ex-servicemen and women.

We sponsored the Southern Water Armed Forces charity race day at Fontwell Park and also placed the winning bid in the charity auction. The race day raised over £55,000 for the QAHH.

A new MTS vehicle featuring the QAHH logo was unveiled at QAHH by Steve Gilson, MTS Contracts Director, along with Kevin Buck, Communications Officer at Southern Water and was welcomed by Tanya Sharp, Corporate Relationships Officer at the QAHH and resident Chris Binns.

MTS and Water Aid

MTS supports Water Aid, the charity working to bring safe water and improved hygiene to the millions of people currently living without these basic human rights.

Charity Fund Raising

Monthly staff dress-down days raise money for a number of charities, including:

Staff also hold a raffle in the run up to Christmas in aid of the Kent Air Ambulance and support major national charity events such as the Royal British Legion poppy appeal, Children in Need, Sports Relief and Movember.

The directors of MTS also support charity events and initiatives by our customers, such as Southern Water and Thames Water. We enhance donations by offering prizes won through charity auctions and raffles on to our staff through blind auctions, with the proceeds passing back to the organiser’s preferred charities.

MTS and work experience for Medway Schools

We work with the Medway Education Business Partnership to provide work experience for students, with both field and office opportunities. Recent placements have been in the CCTV, Transport and Workshop environments.
