In addition to embedding the highest standards of health and safety awareness in our staff, we know that general wellbeing is key to a positive team attitude and a good work/life balance.
We aim to create a happy and healthy workplace for all. Our Wellbeing Champion coordinates information and activities designed to promote general wellbeing for all employees. We also work with our supply chain partners to share best practice and initiatives.
We keep everyone in the loop through regular email updates, articles in MTS News, posters and flyers as well as free events and initiatives such as free health MOTs, fitness assessments, help to stop smoking, advice on healthy eating, drop-in days for advice and support on nutrition, debt management and more.
MTS offers phased return to work after long term sickness absence, workplace medicals and in house drug and alcohol testing in our occupational health programme. There are also special offers on leisure for employees, including reduced price local gym membership and school holiday activities.
We support national campaigns and awareness events including Dry January, National Heart Month, Stoptober, Movember, the IOSH No Time to Lose campaign and the Workplace Challenge.
