Our dedication to the highest standards of customer service is supported by many nationally recognised accreditations. We have recently achieved the Gold Medal Award from RoSPA following five consecutive years of reaching their Gold Award standard. This places us alongside other leading UK companies. Our information security management has also been recognised, with our recent certification to the ISO 27001 standard, following an independent audit.
MTS employs more than 400 people and our network of depots stretches across the south east of England and into the Midlands. We continuously update and renew our fleet of high performance vehicles and plant. As well as our comprehensive services for domestic and commercial customers, we are a key supplier to major utility companies including Southern Water, Thames Water, Severn Trent Water, South East Water and Cappagh Browne Utilities Ltd.
I am proud to say that MTS is leading the way in environmentally friendly waste treatment with our innovative in-house facility. We recycle sewage waste, helping our water industry customers to both save money and achieve zero waste to landfill.
Health and safety is at the heart of all we do. Our Compliance Director and Head of SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) ensure that our workforce has the correct training, information, supervision and equipment to carry out their work safely. We also support general wellbeing with a programme of initiatives to promote a happy and healthy workplace for everyone.
Without a doubt the company’s greatest asset is our highly skilled team. Their commitment to excellent customer service has been vital to our growth and success for thirty four years.
Behind the scenes, our workshop and stores teams ensure that our vehicles are maintained around the clock and all employees have appropriate safety clothing and equipment. Our HR division manages our recruitment process and our bespoke induction programme is run by our in-house training team. Divisional managers oversee the daily operations and transport planning. And at the end of the work cycle, our finance team produces clear and accurate invoices. I believe that all our divisions offer exceptionally high standards across the board.
I am proud of the quick and flexible response that MTS has taken to the Covid-19 outbreak. We are continuing our hard work to keep all our people, customers and the general public as safe as possible during the pandemic.
