ADR Tankering

Our fleet of ADR (Hazchem) specification tankers and our highly qualified personnel ensure the safe collection and disposal of all kinds of chemical wastes.

MTS is fully compliant with the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR). We offer a complete range of ADR services including tank and vessel cleaning, waste collection, bulk haulage and disposal.

We’re available 24/7 for emergency spillages and pollution incidents, where we aim to attend within four hours.

We continuously invest in new high specification vehicles to keep our fleet current and in order to offer the most efficient and cost effective services to our customers. Our specialised tipping tankers each have an 18,000 litre capacity. In addition they are equipped with jetting facilities and vacuum systems, with all equipment fully compliant to the latest ADR regulations.

All MTS ADR vehicles are certified and regularly checked in accordance with international regulations as set out by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe.

All our ADR activities are planned and supervised by our in-house Dangerous Goods Safety Advisors (DGSAs).

MTS DGSAs are trained specialists who hold vocational training certificates, each valid for five years. They are responsible for monitoring and improving our practices in handling, transporting and disposing of dangerous goods.

The DGSAs write detailed risk assessments and method statements for any ADR haulage work we undertake.

Our ADR qualified engineers work in strict accordance with these risk assessments and method statements. This ensures that all work is performed to current legislation standards, safely and to the highest standard.

All ADR waste is transported to a licensed reception site for safe disposal and customers receive full transport documentation. All waste disposal by MTS is fully traceable with a complete audit trail.
