Established in 1986, MTS Cleansing Services Ltd one of the UK’s largest independently owned companies in the liquid waste and Utilities industry, are currently looking to recruit two Business Development Managers, to join their established and successful team on a full time basis working within the Hampshire and Hertfordshire areas.

The ideal candidates will be required to manage and support fellow team members, in developing existing business within a specific geographic region.

Seek and develop new business accounts throughout the sector to identify and implement commercial opportunities and be part of a team building tenders for new business.

Main Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop New Business within the sector to keep informed of the status of current and future new business projects.
  • To manage successful service levels to an established existing client base.
  • Working as part of a team an able to demonstrate team work.
  • Support the Business Development Director on specific projects as requested.
  • Be able to write tenders for new business and include - investigations on the ground to develop operational solutions, commercial proposals.
  • Good communication skills are essential to be able to liaise with partners/subcontractors/suppliers,
  • Prepare and give verbal presentations to prospective and existing clients
  • Attend regional meetings as required to keep up to date with existing contracts, identify development opportunities, and to develop and maintain working relationships with colleagues.

Key Attributes:

Preference will be given to candidates who have previously worked within the utilities and/or waste industry and have built a good reputation for sound knowledge of legislation, processes, plant and staff capabilities for all work packages including Health, Safety and environmental legislation.

The ideal candidate would need to show that they are motivated, ambitious, a team player with necessary skills to predominantly develop a new client base, whilst at the same time delivering results and innovation.

The candidate must also be able to show, integrity, loyalty, trust and devotion to a very tightly managed and well established family built and run business.

These positions are not for the feint hearted, we are looking for candidates who have the drive and desire to succeed, are hardworking, dedicated, and above all are interested in joining a company that is growing, successful and a market leader in the field.
