Your role will be overseeing and managing the workshop based at Stanley House, Rochester.

You will be required to report on a daily basis to the Compliance Director.

Your normal hours of work are Monday to Friday and alternative Saturday morning hours to be determined by the needs of the business.

Your main duties will include managing a team of 10 LGV fitters, working 2 main shift patterns at our Head Office location you will also be responsible for liaising with 2 other remote workshops within the company.

Ensuring that the inspection, service and repairing of the company’s fleet of vehicles and plant is carried out to Ministry of Transport standards.

You will be expected to identify and rectify faults found or reported within reason; repairs that require specialised services. Make arrangements with the Transport managers to ensure a mutually convenient time is scheduled for vehicle repairs to take place, within the needs of the business.

You are required to ensure vehicles are prepared adequately for annul MOT tests and ensuring that all service and MOT records are kept up to date and legally compliant.

A good communicator with Microsoft office skills, good telephone manner and ability to liaise with suppliers and contractors.

A good salary will be provided with life cover and pension after a qualifying period.

Although you will be based at Stanley House offices you may be required from time to time to attend our other sites.

At all times you will maintain awareness and carry out all duties in accordance with the company’s Health and Safety rules hand book, the company’s employee hand book and our BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Management System.
