The wet well at Southern Waters Black Rock site in Brighton is 140 feet deep and requires experienced specialist teams to undertake cleaning and renovation work.
MTS confined space entry teams have the skills and equipment to clean any type, size or depth of wet well. With fully calibrated and certified equipment kept in pristine condition, we offer unrivalled expertise in entry work.
Safety is always our key priority and each confined space entry team is supported by a City and Guilds qualified high risk rescue team.
At Black Rock, MTS worked on behalf of CMDP, a joint venture between Costain and MWH (a global water and natural resources firm). CMDP is the Southern Water delivery partner for the Black Rock project.
MTS has worked at Black Rock on numerous previous occasions as a contractor for Southern Water. This experience enabled us to plan and deliver the latest works with great efficiency, on time and on budget.
In addition to the confined space entry and high risk entry crews, MTS deployed two cranes, a Disab industrial vacuum unit, two 4000 gallon tankers and a deep lifting super suction tanker.
This Black Rock wet well project was completed in two weeks.
