The brand new Bognor Regis campus of the University of Chichester was still a working site when MTS undertook a complete survey of the drains and sewers.
Our CCTV team scanned all the site drainage, including foul water, storm drainage and attenuation (holding tanks). This was the first drain survey of the site in two years and we discovered a few problems, mainly building rubble which we removed from the system using deep lifting super suction tankers.
Where weight restricted access on the development site, we were able to use our compact jet-vac combination units. These 7.5 tonne vehicles offer great versatility in areas where large vehicles might struggle to gain access. The mini-combis worked alongside the MTS CCTV rigs on the two-week project.
