Rushenden Road wet well clean for Southern Water

Our specialist confined space entry crews faced a major cleaning job at the Rushenden Road water pumping station recently.

It is a terminal pumping station for Southern WaterÂ’s Queenborough water treatment works and it is crucial to keep the pumping station as clean as possible.

The MTS crews were faced with a large accumulation of rag which took a lot of work to remove. Three teams of two spent three hours each working inside the wet well, which overall took from 9pm to 6am.

With new housing being built in the area there will be more pressure on this water pumping station and it will require regular specialist cleaning.
