Fleet News

We are continuously updating and refreshing our fleet, working with vehicle manufacturers to develop bespoke high performance equipment built to our own specifications

In 2020 we have procured 26 new units including JHL Super Recycler jetting vehicles, ADR tankers for Hazchem transportation, 6000 gallon tanker trailer units, CCTV vans and a new Lining Division vehicle for our trenchless technology work.

All new vehicles are Euro 6 compliant and built to the highest standards of safety and quality.

We regularly upgrade our fleet of CCTV survey vehicles, with the latest additions featuring a new interior layout, a superior four feed monitor and improved camera technology. Explosion-proof pan-and-tilt cameras feature steering, reverse camera with lights that can scan through 360 degrees inside all types of underground assets to quickly pinpoint issues.

Our new Lining Division van is dedicated to our no-dig drain repairs service, which delivers no-fuss pipe relining to return pipework to better-than-new condition at a fraction of the cost of traditional repair methods.

A total of seven new JHL Super Recycler jetting units have joined the MTS fleet since 2019, bringing versatility and environmentally friendly advantages. These units re-use dirty water for cleaning tanks and sewers, a more sustainable solution that saves our customers time and money.

Two new bespoke ADR tankers can transfer any type of industrial liquid waste, including mineral, oils, food oils, trade effluents and Hazchem waste. They can remove and carry all kinds of corrosive waste including sodium hypochlorite, phosphoric acid, sulphuric acid and polyaluminium chloride.

Huwer super suction tankers (SSTs) offer superior performance on even the most demanding cleaning operations. Customers benefit from reduced water usage and fewer vehicle movements as these units recycle dirty water for sewer cleaning.

Managing Director Steve Gilson, said; “The solid reliability of our fleet is the backbone of our company, which continues to grow on great customer service. We are proud to reinvest in our assets, helping to keep our dedicated staff safe as they carry out their work in hazardous environments, while offering the highest quality equipment and service to our customers.”
