Steve Gilson has been appointed as our Company Managing Director after many years’ service as Contracts Director.
Steve’s appointment is part of recent organisational structure changes within our senior management team which are designed to align with future business needs. Former MD Antony Crust has taken up the role of Chief Executive Officer, Brian Crust is now Chief Operating Officer and Richard Spencer-Tanner has been appointed as Financial Director.
Steve Gilson has built a wealth of knowledge and experience over his career in the drainage industry which began at the age of 16 before joining MTS full-time in 1994. As Contracts Director, Steve has been responsible for organising our successful delivery of major contracts especially for our key utilities clients.
Keith Crust, founder and Chairman of MTS said; “For many years Steve has been a driving force in the company and a good servant to our Board of Directors, the workforce and the company owners. We will always be grateful to him. I am sure that Steve will build on his many career achievements and continue to expand MTS further. I wish him well.”
Steve will also be taking up the role of Chief Executive Officer of MTS’ sister waste treatment company Composting Facilities Services (CFS) Ltd, upon the retirement of Mike Norton.
