MTS Managing Director Steve Gilson presented a cheque for £10,000 to James Devine, the CEO of the Medway NHS Foundation Trust.
Steve was joined by MTS Directors Chris Henderson and Allen Crust, and MTS drivers Brandon Ball and Mick Seager at the presentation outside the Medway Maritime Hospital.
Steve said; “We were pleased to be able to express our thanks and gratitude to our fantastic NHS with this donation of £10,000. We have also donated radios to the Covid-19 recovery ward at Medway Maritime Hospital in the hope they will bring entertainment and comfort to recuperating patients.”
Cheryl Jones, Fundraising Officer at Medway NHS Foundation Trust, said; ‘’We would like to express our gratitude to MTS for their support during the COVID-19 outbreak. We are extremely grateful for the donation of £10,000 and the supply of digital radios, which have provided real comfort to our patients.’’
James Devine, Chief Executive at Medway NHS Foundation Trust, added; ‘’We send our heartfelt thanks to MTS and welcome this wonderful gift which will be used to benefit our staff and patients during the COVID-19 outbreak and beyond.
