We’re committed to continuous investment in our fleet across our network of depots.
In the Midlands, two recent additions have refreshed the fleet servicing Severn Trent Water and our other customers in the region.
A JHL super suction recycling unit provides a CVS WR2500 liquid ring pump and a six-inch suction cassette with lift and telescope. This offers excellent vacuum strength suitable for a wide range of the most challenging tasks.
The second fantastic addition is a versatile JHL Superflex jetting and vacuum combination unit. This carries a Uraca KD 718G jetting hose which features a 333 litres per minute, 170 bar hose reel. State-of-the-art controls allow easy detection of any faults within the unit. With its impressive vacuum capacity, it’s perfect for the biggest suction tasks including city centre mains, pumping stations or big tanks. The dimensions of the suction hose and the unique structure mean that stones and other elements don't get stuck allowing a continuous workflow. The Superflex can lift heavy material from depths of more than 30 metres.
Luke Potts, General Manager of MTS Midlands, said; “We’re more than thrilled with these new units which look great in the MTS yellow livery. We’re keeping our fleet fresh and professional for our client Severn Trent Water and we’re dedicated to supplying the right tools to get the job done.”
