Caring for the environment is our business. We strive to reduce the impacts of activities on the environment and actively drive down our carbon footprint, while maintaining competitiveness. MTS’ environmental CARE philosophy is a core principle of our management doctrine.

Corporate responsibility

Ownership or responsibility for caring for the environment is shared by all our staff and vigorously championed by the Directors.


We ensure all our staff, sub-contractors and other stakeholders are aware of the environmental aspects of our activities and the measures we take to minimise harmful impacts on the environment.

Reduce, re-use and recycle

We strive to reduce all wastes and ensure that waste waters, effluents, solid bio-wastes and other wastes are considered for re-use and recycling wherever possible.

Environmental standards

Our environmental management system is accredited with BSI certification to ISO 14001:2004. We are committed to operating is a sustainable way and in compliance with the environmental laws and regulations. 

MTS Cleaning Services is committed to:

  • Adopt any appropriate policy, standard, procedure, contingency measure and management system in order to ensure its operations are managed ecologically and in a sustainable way
  • Take necessary measures to prevent pollution, to conserve and use rationally the natural resources required for its operations and implement relevant emergency response plans and procedures
  • Communicate to its management, employees and contractors its commitment to improving environment, and to provide training on such commitment
  • Maintain ISO 14001 and other environmental accreditations, and
  • Systematically evaluate its environmental performance though appropriate audits.

Streamlined Energy and Carbon Report 2019/20

SECR or Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting is a new UK regulation requiring non-SME’s (Small to Medium sized Enterprises) to report their energy usage and carbon emissions in their annual reports. This comprehensive overview looks at our energy use and emissions and our efforts to reduce and offset the environmental impacts of our business.
